I LOVE this boy!!  Wow - has he grown since our first session!  He has AMAZING eyelashes - and his SMILE!  Some of his expressions just crack me up and I have giggled all through editing these pics. Funny & Sweet this little guy's got it all!

Appearing together for the first time...Marlee & Maggie!!

In one of my shots that is!  I've been taking pics of these two for a while now.  Well, before Maggie even was!  And getting them in the frame together is one of by biggest challenges.  But I managed to snap these two during Maggie's one year session. Yay for me!! :)  I have a feeling there will be plenty more to come!

New Toys! (um..I mean equipment)

I've got new toys!!!  Well, tecnically they are to help me do my job (can you say "tax deduction"), but since I love my job, they feel like toys.  The first item is a gorgeous camera strap cover from SheyB.  It was a gift from my sweet friend Candice and I can NOT believe the difference it makes.  My camera is VERY HEAVY as camera's go especially when I add a big lens.  This strap makes it so much better AND I look cool!  (At least that's what I tell myself)  : )

My other new "toy" is the latest offering from Canon - the 5D Mark II.  I've been shooting with a 5D for almost two years now and I LOVE it.  I waited on this one because, while I needed another camera body, I really thought I'd just pick up another 5D.  But after this one arrived and ALL my photographer friends - (especially those who shoot a lot of weddings like I do) started raving, well, I decided to bite the bullet and go for it.  Little did I know I'd have to wait SO long to get one.  But it's finally here, and when I slow down enough to put it through it's paces, I'll let give you my review.   If you see me out shooting - this is what I'll be wearing... 21 MP - HDVR capable - excellent in low light - all means better pictures for YOU!

This is our dog Bonnie last Sunday after a nice roll in the dry grass and sunshine! She was very happy;  the whole family agrees this is her best smile.  : )

 

Bangkok Rust - Appearing at Caps Fri. Feb 20th - Check out the new Publicity Shots!

Bangkok Rust is playing Capalanos Coffee Emporium - Downtown McMinnville Friday night.  The show starts at 7:00 and is ALL AGES - so the upstairs will be open to folks under 21 till 8:00.  The Band wanted to do some new publicity shots recently and my super-creative husband had some awesome concepts.  He also had time. (I was on another session this day)  So he took the shots below - I think he may have found his calling! :)  So any of you bands out there - give us a call - Let's get Creative!  : )

Nathan + Kate - A Few More

Getting close to a slideshow for Nathan and Kate's Beautiful wedding, but I thought I'd post a few more that stood out to me as I was editing.  The Wedding was elegant and beautiful. The Reception was ROCKIN!  Joe Harvey Band - need I say more???  I saw SO many smiles on the dance floor and DEFINITELY when the father of the bride took the stage! : )

Edyn's World - 4 months

I was SO excited to get to meet Edyn Gonder.  I just love her parents and her grandparents, and knew she'd be a beauty with lots of personality. :)  Kara & Cameron - you guys are so awesome with her- she's lucky to have parents so crazy about her - but she deserves it!!!  It's going to be SO fun watching her grow! Here are a few from our first session & I can't wait till the next one!   P.S.  If you need any more help decorating the nursery let me know! ;)

O.K.  This one cracks me up!  LOL.  There's a rumor the Grand-pa's will like the camouflage. : )  I'm sure the Grand-ma's will like the color coordinating bow!

Miss & Mister - Out on the Town

My daughter and my husband have nicknames for each other.  Miss and Mister.  I'm not sure how it started, but they have stuck now and I can't imagine when they didn't do it.  Tonight they are headed for the much anticipated father-daughter dance.  I snapped a few pics as they headed out the door - I thought they both looked smashing.  I don't often post my crew on here as this is really a "business" blog, but these I couldn't resist.  I hope these two are having a wonderful time - I can't wait to hear all about it!!!  :  )
