Hannah's Bridal!!

Woo Hoo!  I finally get to show this! I've been waiting FOREVER to be able to post these pictures.  But as of 6:00 last evening - Miss Higgins will be Mrs. Gambill! So I've scheduled this to post - early on Sunday~ 

Here is what Brad got to see coming down the aisle - I think just about anyone would consider him a lucky man.  I happen to know Hannah feels she's the lucky one - which is just the way it should be! :)

Justin + Tara - Wedding Sneak Peek

Well, they said it would rain, and it did.  They said it would pass, and it did... long enough for the ceremony anyway!  Justin & Tara are truly dear to us - we just LOVED being a small part of their wedding day.  I saw so many folks I knew - friends and family working so hard to make this occasion perfect.  Unfortunately Mother Nature decided to throw a bit of celebratory rain and we all got a bit ...um..muddy.  But I've never seen it affect anyone less.  Tara would look beautiful in ANYTHING.  and Justin - well you just have to know him to know how little a rainy day would affect how he feels about marrying Tara.  Here are a few from the editing table  - much more to come!  :)

Mitch + Angie - The Wedding

When our dear friends Mitch and Angie got married last month, I had the honor of taking a few pictures.  These two have known each other since High School, but rekindled their friendship after years of losing touch.  When the friendship became something more - we were so thrilled! 

The wedding was intimate and low-key, with just the right special touches.  They were married in the living room of Mitch's family home.  Mitch's father perfomed the ceremony and the best man Steve provided the comic relief. :)   There was much laughter - a few tears - and lots of joy as they start their new life together.  Rumor has it they're planning to add to their little family when they adopt two puppies next week.  I'm SO hoping I get to do those baby pictures! :)

Congratulations Seniors!!!

Almost 400 seniors from WCHS will be tossing their caps in the air in just a few hours!  Then Thursday night the seniors from Boyd will do the same!  The excitement in our small town is palpable - the place is positively buzzing! :)

 I wish each and everyone of you a wonderful graduation and Congratulations on your achievement!  A special Thank you to those of you who came to me for your senior pictures - I loved being a part of this special year!  Here is a look back at some of my favorite shots of the graduates! :)

Meet Little Gracie V.

I'm working on a session with the sweet Gracie V. right now and wanted to share a few of my favorites. Gracie was in town from North Carolina and I got the privilege of taking a few pictures.  (She slept through several!) Then a couple of days later I got to take bridal pictures of her stunning Aunt Allison :)  I get to see this sweetie next month at the wedding and I can't wait as I'm sure she's grown.  She comes from a family of beautiful, strong women and it will be fun to watch her grow!!!

Chit Chat...

Wow!  The 2009 Wedding season has officially begun! We've done three weddings so far in 2009, and have 4 more just in the next MONTH!  Needless to say, I'm staying very busy!  I'm working on album design, editing, shooting, bookkeeping, PR, and SO much more.  Fortunately, this summer I'll have an intern at least temporarily - so for those of you waiting on me - please hang in there - hopefully I'll catch up!! : )

I do have some work I just can NOT wait to share!   I shot two bridal sessions recently where we had SO much  fun.  I can't wait for their weddings just so I can post the bridals!  In the meantime, I've got some weddings, families and LOTS of babies coming your way!  So check back soon!

Dylan + Callie - The Slideshow!!!!

At long last!  I will not bore you with the technical difficulties I have encountered with my slideshows of late - but I believe I have "sweet talked" (yeah right, can you say threatened, cajoled, harassed) the technicians of my software company into sorting out all my difficulties.  Callie - you have been SO SWEET and SO PATIENT with me  - Thank you!  

I have to say again, what a truly beautiful wedding this was!  There were SO many details that made it personal and beautiful.  Yes, I loved the chocolate, I've said that before, but I loved the table with the parent's wedding albums.  I loved the note to the parents and grand-parents.  I loved the predictions for the future. I loved Sophi's shoes!  I even loved the heart shaped arrangement of the punch cups!  : )  So here at last is the slideshow (click picture) ...Enjoy!

The many faces of Emme...

I just love this girl!  She came up tonight at a school play and gave me a big ol' hug.  She always has the sweetest smile - well except when her flip flop is floating down the river.  or when she has to walk in the squishy mucky gooey stuff back to the bank. or when she's thinking of throwing more grass on her mom. LOL!  

BUT MOST of the time you can count on a smile from Emme and there's no way you can't have a better day after that!   Here are a few from her birthday session.  We even managed to get a couple with mom Paddi - who is totally stunning.
