Sara H - Senior

The reasons I love Sara are too numerous to even begin in this post - so I'll just say why I loved shooting her senior pictures! I loved her infectious, creative, hay-bale climbing, waterfall jumping, prom dress & cowboy hat wearing, excitement!  ;)

 

How NOT to wear a cowboy hat...

So...Gracie was assisting me on a shoot. She was already carrying a bag, an extra camera and a reflector and then I kind of handed her a cowboy hat from behind as I was trying to take a shot.  When I turned around this is what I saw!  LOL! She wore it like this till we got back to the car - what a clown! :)

Cole + Hailey - The E-session

Even though we did this session "down on the farm" -these two totally rocked! I had such a great time exploring where we could shoot! I had never met Cole before, but on our session I met him and his Mom and his Dad and his Granny.  We also saw some cousins and an Uncle that I did know! LOL!  This is a great family to be around and I just can't wait for the wedding!

Which way is Up???

LOL!  I just came across this pic while editing an e-session.  We were at Brook's house for some of the pics and he decided to "show" us his new kitties.  I have just made some major changes in my life outside photography (good stuff just DIFFERENT) and I feel a bit like this little guy right now! :)  Hope I can be as flexible! 

Michael + Allison - The Wedding Sneak Peak

It was a beautiful, sunny - glorious day - for a beautiful, glorious wedding.  We had such a great day with Allison and Michael - they are so obviously crazy about each other.  The details of this wedding were just stunning - and so thoughtful.  From the hand-painted aisle runner, to the silver tussy-mussies embellished with each bridesmaid's initial, to the choice of songs sung by Michael's brother, the details made this wedding shine!   

I believe Barbara Jane, Allison's mother, is my new hero for her impromptu bustling of Allison's dress at the reception - using the spare safety pins I always keep in my car.  It was a work of art! :)

Pelham Crew

I was really excited about doing this session - because I've always thought Isabella was just so darn cute!  I hadn't really seen Eli since he was an infant - but with his genes I figured he'd be a cutie too.  I was right! LOL!  We shot in a bunch of different places - all within a mile of each other.  I think Nick would have rather been riding his horse - but he hung in there with us.  Just love the one on one shots!...

Leavin' on a Jet Plane...

Gracie and I are going on a much-anticipated, whirlwind trip to New York City.  We'll be back early next week, and I'll do my best to get caught up.  She's been looking forward to this for a year and I need to spend some time with her - while she still wants too.  Hope everyone has a great week!!  Will post pics when we get back!   

Have a Rockin' 4th!!!

I hope everyone has a Fun & Save 4th of July!  If you're out after the fireworks in McMinnville tomorrow - there will be a great show at Capalano's downtown.  Bangkok Rust will start rocking at 9:45 with a special guest appearance (nope- not gonna tell you you'll have to go to find out).  Then Hosta Band  will keep rocking after that - So come on down and finish your fourth with some Great Music!
