Smile of the "week, sometimes month or when I think of it"

This is our dog Bonnie last Sunday after a nice roll in the dry grass and sunshine! She was very happy;  the whole family agrees this is her best smile.  : )

 

Just a cat...

Meet Simon.  She just showed up one day and took up residence with us.  We think she's a she.  But animal lover that I am, I'm not too good with cat "parts".  So she could be a neutered male (I'm not THAT bad!), but whatever she is we LOVE her.  Because she LOVES us. 

She's taken up residence in our barn, made an uneasy truce with the three canines and tries to get in on EVERY band practice and EVERY photo session in the studio.  But, she made a great lighting model on Monday so, here she (?) is.  No pedigree- no history- Just a cat.  But no one purrs louder - or calms me down like Simon.  or Simone.  We'll ask Sam next time he comes by. :)

When a picture makes you laugh...

This is a SERIOUS dog.  He comes from unbelievable Championship bloodlines. His pups sell for SERIOUS money.  He even has a SERIOUS kick-#$! name...GOTTI.  So how come everytime I look at this picture I crack up?!  Must be my problem.  Because this is a SERIOUS dog! :) Stop laughing!

(Seriously now - Gotti belongs to an awesome couple who own S&D Kennels in Sparta, TN and as French Bulldogs go he is a Gorgeous Guy.  So if your looking for a puppy that will keep you smiling give them a call!)

Peeping Moon

"Hey Lady, you got any sweetfeed in that camera bag?"  Ever curious, my sweet gelding Moonshine was peeping through the fence during a photo session at our barn yesterday.  He'll be 25 years old next month and he's a bit "high-withered" ( also known as sway-backed if your not into horse trading) but we think he's beautiful!  Well at least when we can see his dappled-white, lose-your-fingers thick, winter coat we think he's beautiful. Moonie loves to roll in mud, and if there's no mud around plain old dirt will do.  He's an awesome horse! He gives kisses when he's in the mood, and if you try to give him a carrot he makes the most hysterical grimace.  In other words, he's a character.  Much like the rest of us around this farm! :)
