Here are a few from my FUN session with the Collins Family! Courtlyn & Carrigan are two of the cutest cuties in town! Kirk and Tara obviously adore them and the feeling is mutual. Hope you enjoy a glimpse of this awesome family! : )
Sweet Carrigan - Hasn't she GROWN?!
It's hard to believe that the first time I photographed this child (almost two years ago) he slept though most of the session. I can still see him with his head on Leslie's shoulder. :) He's NOT sleeping Now!! LOL! Leyton has grown CURLS and a mind of his own with a sweet mischievous smile. He is SO MUCH FUN!! He's going to be a big brother soon and I know he will be a great one! :)

Here is a summer session with the Norris Family! It's Eamon's premiere - but I believe Adie may have had her picture taken once...or twice...or three times before! LOL! She is so much fun; we had a great time on this shoot just coming up with new stuff to get her to try. Then we'd have to chase her to get the shot! LOL! Eamon took a little snack and nap break during the session and still managed to give us some great stuff - Can't wait to see what the two of them do when he's older!!! :)
So...Gracie was assisting me on a shoot. She was already carrying a bag, an extra camera and a reflector and then I kind of handed her a cowboy hat from behind as I was trying to take a shot. When I turned around this is what I saw! LOL! She wore it like this till we got back to the car - what a clown! :)
I just love this girl! She came up tonight at a school play and gave me a big ol' hug. She always has the sweetest smile - well except when her flip flop is floating down the river. or when she has to walk in the squishy mucky gooey stuff back to the bank. or when she's thinking of throwing more grass on her mom. LOL!
This session was a gift from my sweet friend/client Mary Beth Laxson who had also received a session as a gift. :) Pretty awesome - in my book- especially since I'm the gift! The reason Mary Beth wanted to do something special is the love and generosity Leanne Nokes has shown - for being who she is. It reminds me to show appreciation for those special people in my life.
When we took these pictures - little Hadassah Rose was just two weeks old. She was just so tiny and she got SO sleepy. The rest of the family stayed awake for the entire session and we had a great time! All of these shots are taken within 200 yards of their house - those railroad tracks came in very handy! This is also the session where we met "Cassie" (See smile of the week post). Then two days later I got to see everyone again at a wedding. I think Scott was REALLY glad he wasn't the focus that day. :) I just love the shots of he and Savannah - and can't wait to take more shot of this crew as Hadassah grows! Thanks Terri for letting me record this special time!
This session was given to Jon as a father's day present by Alanna, but we booked the session for a little cooler weather. These were taken at the sight of what used to be Jon's grandparent's homeplace out toward Viola. The barn was where all the Siblings (Jon, Shannon and Laura) - who now have kids of their own used to play. It's obvious from talking with any of them how much family and this location in particular mean. I understand, because I feel the same way about my "Pap-pa and Mam-ma's" house.
Mea's cousins - Madeline, Jalen and Ella- joined in on some of the session - and we had a great day! We found an old apple tree - climbed in the loft- saw the biggest spider EVER! No, I did not post pictures of her (the spider) so it's safe to keep looking! :)
