If the engagement session is any indication this is gonna be a great wedding! We had fun on what can only be called a WHIRLWIND shoot - hitting SEVERAL locations in record time! Ellie their adorable puppy could also be called a WHIRLWIND! (I was bribing her with treats in the pics where she is still! ) I love these shots and seeing these two together - I had a hard time choosing what to post - so here are just SOME of my favorites! :)
Zach & Kati like to play together. What I noticed first when we got together for this session - is that they are friends and seem to have fun - whether "fishing" or hanging out in a boat! : ) They brought along their chocolate lab pup (my favorite among favorites) and while I had to rescue her once and she got in a wee bit of trouble trying to play with an older dog - she was a delight! The wedding is about a month away and I'm sure planning is in overdrive due to a schedule change - but there was NO sign of stress from this couple. We can't wait for this one - I expect pure joy! : )
Brandon and Rachel are tying the knot next month and we can't wait! Their E-session was shot on the Clendennon farm in Irving College - it is a gem of a location and what wonderful hosts they were. : ) Brandon and Rachel were great to work with - and we shot several with little Brooklyn - who you already know stole my heart!
The countdown to Justin & Danielle's wedding is on! Just six more days. I know it will be a Wonderful day! The three of us met at Cannonsburg Village and just as we were starting to shoot another couple (the Duggins), walked by and said they had pictures taken there before they got married 25 years ago!!! So....of course we had to take their pic too! It was a great day in spite of a little drizzle. :) I think these two just "match", they would smile at the same time whether looking at each other or me. We finished up downtown at their favorite restaurant - and they even invited me to eat. I still can't believe I turned down Italian - but when a couple finishes their engagement pictures - they deserve a romantic meal withOUT me tagging along! :)

Even though we did this session "down on the farm" -these two totally rocked! I had such a great time exploring where we could shoot! I had never met Cole before, but on our session I met him and his Mom and his Dad and his Granny. We also saw some cousins and an Uncle that I did know! LOL! This is a great family to be around and I just can't wait for the wedding!
...She thinks his tractors sexy...(Sorry! Sorry! I just couldn't help it -too obvious i guess!)
I hadn't met RJ & Jacqui till our session and had only spoken briefly to Jacqui on the phone, but by the end of our afternoon, I felt like I was walking away from friends. We had quite the adventure on this session with all of us getting VERY DIRTY feet. RJ and Jacqui stepped in river mud and I'd rather forget about what I stepped in. Let's just say I was wishing for my Crocs withOUT the holes.
Even though we got started a little late (totally my fault) this session was great! Whitney had an awesome idea for a location - and since Dean's family owns it we didn't have a problem getting permission. Shooting at an old factory is my idea of heaven - now it's a little messy in some places, and you never know when a steam geyser might pop up, but HEY - it's all part of the experience! : )
I just loved working with these two, they have an easy relationship that's fun to be around. We were talking about the wedding and while the guest tally wasn't complete, it will be a large affair and should be SO MUCH fun. Here are a few shots from our adventure...
OK, even I can't believe I just titled my post that. But Hey, blame it on my Uncle David - He's the King of Corn and apparently I got the gene. ; ) Anyway...Here are a few more from Justin & Tara's E-session. We covered the spectrum from loony to tender and had a blast doing it! Have I mentioned how much I'm looking forward to this wedding?!
Scott and Rae had set a wedding date for May 30, 2009. So when we took these shots a while back, we thought we had plenty of time to edit and pick one for the paper. That was before my urgent (but not really panicked) call from Rae's mom Patti, saying they had decided to get married on the beach Thanksgiving Weekend!! SO...we edited a couple for the paper and for decoration that day. NOW here are the rest of them. Is it just me or are these last two shots SMOKIN?! ; )

It would be very hard for me to pick my favorite type of session or event, but, my "E" sessions have to be at the top! Take two happy people in love, add a great location, a crazy photographer, enough time for everybody to relax and the pics JUST WORK.
I was so excited about this session in particular cause Brad is a graphic artist and if you know Hannah, you know she is creative and fun. Oh did I mention DROP DEAD GORGEOUS? PLUS we were shooting in downtown Nashville - and while I thought I had spent a lot of time there - let me tell you something...Brad KNOWS Broadway! :) We had a blast shooting everywhere from a dinky parking lot, to the Schermerhorn Center, to my favorite alley, to Union Station. These two were up for anything - even if it involved sitting on the sidewalk - a parking space or a trash can. Sorry Hannah! ; ) Here are just a few of the shots from the day. Needless to say...Can't WAIT for the wedding!!!!!
