Mullins Maternity Session

Happy, Eager, Anticipation, that's what I felt from the Mullins family when we did these shots while they were awaiting the arrival of little Jenna Kate.   Tina looked just gorgeous; she seemed so calm and relaxed during our session.  The nursery was lovely - all ready for a baby girl to move right in.  I think Blake is going to make a great big brother!  

Since we took these shots, Jenna Kate made her somewhat speedy arrival, and while I've only seen pictures she looks like a doll with lots and lots of hair!  Look for more pics of her soon!!!

Nallely's Belly

So sorry about the title.  I couldn't help myself!  :)  How many times do you get a maternity client who's name rhymes with belly!!!  The best part is I know Nallely (pronounced Na-jelly) will laugh!  I love this lady - and I'm so excited that little Adrian has arrived safely in the time between when we took these shots and now.  He was born October 1st and weighed 9lbs and 9 oz. Congrats John & Nallely!  You guys will be great parents!   I can't wait to get to see Adrian in person - but in the meantime here he is "in belly".  That makes me giggle. :)

 

The Kell Family

At the Covenant Academy "Spring Fling" in March, I donated a Lifestyle session to the NOT SILENT auction.  :)  I was amazed at the other wonderful donations given generously by our community!  I wondered if anyone would even know what a "Lifestyle" session was, much less want to bid on one. :) But Wendy Kell knew and as she was expecting a baby, she also knew exactly when and how she wanted to use her session. 

We had to shoot a little earlier than most maternity sessions, cause Wendy's babies tend to show up early.  So we gathered the family and headed down to the river, then came back and did a few in the studio.  I love this time in a family, awaiting the new arrival with so much excitement.  I'm not sure if Noah has arrived just yet because I haven't talked to Wendy in a few days - but I can NOT wait to meet him!!! Keagan in the oven

Before Keagan made his somewhat early debut, I had the honor of taking some pics of his beautiful mother in all her gravid glory.  Shea is somewhat my muse, and she and Kyle were SUCH great sports about this session.  We walked a wire on some of the shots, but it was so worth it. I've said it before, but I can't wait to take pics of the little guy now that he's here.  In the meantime, here are some of my favorites "in forno". ( I just love italian!)  :)

Patiently Waiting

I don't think I've been this excited since the arrival of my own precious little ones.  Tonight my dear friend Candice is going to the hospital to have a daughter.  Lives will be changed. Love will be redefined.  I belive with all my heart that this is a very, very lucky little one to have Candice and Travis for parents.  She is so loved, and we haven't even met her yet! :)
