Lily by the bridge...

Lily will graduate in 2011 and we are going to do her senior pics this summer - but we did a mini-session in November.  We did the pics a bit early because we wanted the beautiful old bridge that is by her house to be in them and the county is getting ready to tear it down. All in the name of progress of course.  This is one of the prettiest spots in Warren County and I am sad to see it go.  Thank you Lily for another chance to shoot there and for being such a beautiful model...

Tasha T - Senior | Middle Tennessee Portrait Photographer

Tasha and I started planning this session back in the spring, but didn't actually meet till the day of her session in October.  It was great to finally meet her and once we started shooting it was like working with a friend!  We covered several locations, made a few clothing changes all in an effort to show just a few of the different sides of this wonderful girl!  Here are a few of my favorites...

Jared N - Senior | Senior Photographer

If you know me at all you know I have a soft spot for musicians...especially guitarists! : )  I had a great afternoon hanging with Jared - We really just drove around and shot wherever the spirit moved us. With the exception of Capalano's we really had no plan. (A special thanks to Brad Kaplan for letting us use Cap's!)  I look forward to seeing and hearing what Jared does in the future.  In the meantime...here are some of my favorites...

Lauren W. - Senior

Lauren asked me to do these a LONG time ago - and while we had to wait till after dental surgery - we were both excited about finally getting to shoot these. (I know I was!)  It was a crazy day - I had a minor car accident on the way to the shoot - but Lauren and her mom waited patiently while I sorted things out and we sallied fourth. (Does ANYBODY say that?!)  LOL!  Lauren was so fun to work with and we found some great locations in Bell Buckle.  So here are just a few of my favorites...

Sara H - Senior

The reasons I love Sara are too numerous to even begin in this post - so I'll just say why I loved shooting her senior pictures! I loved her infectious, creative, hay-bale climbing, waterfall jumping, prom dress & cowboy hat wearing, excitement!  ;)

 

Congratulations Seniors!!!

Almost 400 seniors from WCHS will be tossing their caps in the air in just a few hours!  Then Thursday night the seniors from Boyd will do the same!  The excitement in our small town is palpable - the place is positively buzzing! :)

 I wish each and everyone of you a wonderful graduation and Congratulations on your achievement!  A special Thank you to those of you who came to me for your senior pictures - I loved being a part of this special year!  Here is a look back at some of my favorite shots of the graduates! :)

Bridgette - Senior

I'm currently scheduling my 2010 seniors (can't wait!!) - and here (sigh) is my final senior of 2009.  A photographer friend of mine recently shot her daughter's senior pics and I remember thinking WOW - bet that's hard; emotional and fun at the same time.  Well this is as close as I get for a few more years. Bridge is the daughter of my best friend and my God-daughter.  She's like my daughter with no baggage! LOL!  The session was an absolute BLAST - but as we were driving away I got teary.  The good part is that when she get's to college she'll live closer to ME!!! :)  I had a very hard time choosing which pics to edit as you can imagine.  But here are a few of my favorites...

Kelsey Young - Senior 2009

The gorgeous and FUN Kelsey is my NEXT to LAST senior for this year.  I'm starting my 2010 Senior shoots in May - and I can't wait.  I have to say these spring sessions were a LOT of fun and got me excited about all my summer sessions!  Kelsey wanted to start in Rock Island for some natural shots, then we went on a whirlwind tour with um...SEVEN eight stops! LOL!  It was so great - Kelsey had some shots she wanted, her mom had some ideas and I had some ideas so we just tried em all.  Kelsey Rocked the session with her attitude and made the time FLY by.  Some people tell her she looks like Julia Stiles, I mentioned a "young" Valerie Bertenelli (yes I'm that old)  but the one person she looks exactly like is Kelsey and THAT is a GOOD THING!! :)
