Alyse is FUN - you know that if you know her - or even if you just happened to see her bridal pics on here. Her wedding day was no exception! It is obvious how much she cares for her family - including her new family and that everyone returns the feeling. I did not have a chance to meet Josh before the wedding day, but I think you can see from the groomsman's pic below - this is a match made in heaven! :)
We loved being part of this day - "from the shoot as fast as you can, we are freezing out here!" to the "Scrabble" game, to the way Josh and Alyse held each other after the ceremony it was alternately fun and touching.
We wish you only good things in your life together, but if you hold on to each other like you did in that moment, you can get through the bad stuff too - I have no doubt.
Fun with the guys...
And gals...
Although the girls weren't too sure about Alyse's dancing ability (something was mentioned about Elaine on Seinfeld... : )
Alyse...fun AND a classic beauty...
The guys had fun playing scrable...
Josh getting used to his new ring...
The Embrace right after the ceremony - one of my favorite pictures ever...

I love bridal sessions! I hate bridal sessions! No, I'm not bi-polar (well not diagnosed anyway..) But we always have so much fun and get awesome pictures - then I have to wait forever to post them so the groom doesn't accidentally stumble on them ( I don't think too many grooms stalk my site)! But here FINALLY are some of my favorites from Alyse's (Now Mrs. Woodlee) bridal session.
These are some of the very first shots - I just love this girl! We did have a bit of a hard time with the "serious" shot at first...
Alyse has such a classic look...
I told Alyse to bring along her most comfortable accessories....SO...she brought her hikers and her backpack - This is the shot that inspired my Gracie to be a "runaway bride" for Halloween!

Here is my last wedding from 2009 - Good timing - as today I begin my 2010 Weddings!
Zach and Kati's wedding was originally going to be in April of 2010, but they decided in the fall... "Why Wait?!" So... they changed the date to Halloween (Kati LOVES Halloween) and had a BEAUTIFULLY themed wedding. There were gorgeous hand carved pumpkins - stunning fall flowers - and a few young guests even wore their trick-or-treat attire!
I think it was a great decision - one that was "meant to be" because the wedding was just WONDERFUL. While it made my October a bit crazy, and these pics are slower than I would have liked to make it to the blog (one of my resolutions is to clone myself) it was all worth it!! Kati was truly glowing - and while Zach does NOT like to get his picture taken - he was so often looking at Kati - I think he may have forgotten I was there. ; )
Here are just a few of my favorite shots...
The rings...
Bodice detail of Kati's lovely dress...
Mom reaches to put the finishing touch on an already "perfect" bride...
This next series is so fun...Zach is NOT one for PDA (public displays of affection) so this spontaneous kiss surprised Kati!
Love this shot of the dashing groom!
I have a feeling this guy liked having his picture made - NOT!
Favorite Ceremony shots...
This day was fun - right down to the cake topper! AND the cake cutting!
Bubbles and a Limo - a perfect end to a perfect day...

Here's a peek of Brandon and Rachel's beautiful wedding at the Inn at Harvest Farm. This had to be one of the coldest days EVER in October! I felt horrible when I took Rachel outside for her bridal shots - but not too horrible when I saw how beautiful they were! While the outside ceremony was a bit chilly - I think everyone was warmed by the love of this wonderful family starting their life together. When Brandon and Rachel came back up the aisle, Brandon was carrying Brooklyn - and it was just so sweet! The three of them look great together!! : )
The details of this wedding were just perfect - the fall colors, the beautiful cake! Of course I'm a big fan of caramel apples and they made GORGEOUS decorations as well as DELICIOUS wedding favors!
A few of my favorites follow....
The rings....
It was fun in the "girls" room...
Apparently it was fun in the "guys" room too!
Love this stormy sky...
Every woman deserves to walk down the aisle to a man who looks at her this way!

I LOVE weddings! That's WHY I do what I do. I love the big formal soirees and I love the small intimate affairs - it seems each couple always chooses the wedding that best celebrates their love. India and Joey chose a location that is truly, truly breathtaking. Vesper Point - part of the Beersheba Assembly has been site of religious services for almost seventy years. I can not imagine it looking more beautiful then it did this day.
The wedding was attended by close family and dear friends and the love they felt for the couple was visible. Lots of smiles, amazing patience with what I'm sure felt like a ton of pictures, it was just a truly wonderful day. Thank you India and Joey for letting us be a part of it! Here are a few of my favorite pics...
A fun edit of the beautiful bride...

October was insanely busy for me this year - but then it always is! It has become a favored wedding month - with good reason - it's usually not too hot - not too cold. And it rarely rains. (Except this year it did it ALL!) Cole and Hailey were our first October wedding and their day was just gorgeous. The wedding took place at Lakeside Resort in Smithville with the ceremony at the gazebo and the reception at the Villa. Hailey rode down in a vintage Camaro - it was a great touch and she actually managed to outshine the car! :)
Cole & Hailey are just so much fun - and everyone was so happy for them this day! The cake cutting was the messiest we've seen - and it would be hard to say exactly who "won". Actually, thinking about the way they looked at each other that day - I think they both did. Here are just a few of my favorites...
I loved the fall "feel" and colors! Popcorn! What a great idea!
Love this shot of Cole...
Yep, the car was hot, but Hailey was hotter!
Love, love, love this shot!

If coming from a strong family is the key to a happy marriage - these two have it made! Both come from large loving families and there was so much joy and celebration this day. Here's a peek at Samuel + Chelsea's Beautiful Day...
A kiss for dad just before walking down the aisle...

I love little country churches. So I was excited when I pulled up for Justin and Danielle's wedding, because the church was just so perfect.
Now small churches don't generally have a lot of "getting ready" room and it was a bit warm that day, but Justin and Danielle remained cool & calm and so obviously in LOVE. : ) Danielle's smile as she waited for him to turn around and see her during the "first glance" session was glowing - truly glowing! Justin's face when he saw her did not disappoint - he was stunned - how cool is that?! Here is a little peek...
I Love this shot Sara (my talented second shooter) got of the guys hanging before the wedding...
Mr. & Mrs!!! They seem happy about it! : )
The golf ball mints were a perfect touch! and yummy!
One last peek of the happy couple! More to come!

A beautiful day with family and friends - Steven and Courtney's wedding at a rural country church was lovely. Her maid of honor - Krista saved the day by helping me gather folks for pictures and I think I may have to hire her on an on-going basis! :) Here are a few special shots from their day...

The flower girl playing...um yes that's the wedding dress :)
