New Blogsite

Avery et al...

So this was a family session.  But honestly, it was an Avery session!  This child is SO precious - you just fall in love with her smile and her spirit when you meet her.  I did get pics of the entire family - and truly the center of it all is Avery.  Older brother Mason had some fantastic senior pics done not long ago, but it had been a little while since Avery was the "focus" of a session. : )  After she warmed up to the idea we had lots of fun - as you can see below...

 

  

 

 
    

A Great Place to Spend a Hot Summer Day

Enjoyed shooting at Rutledge Falls this week - I know some others who just went there to hang out and swim.  I bet I got as wet as they did!  Camera stayed dry though! Yay me! ; )

Brave the Heat - Friday Night - Seven Bridges Downtown

This Friday night the Mainstreet Live show features Eagles cover band Seven Bridges.  I am the featured Main Street Vendor and will have a booth down on the lawn.  The show should be great and there will be some great door prizes.  Including one from yours truly.  So bring your portable fan, a comfortable chair and come on down!!

Jesse + Amanda - E-session

We had so much fun on this E-session!  We met in Tullahoma and took some shots downtown - taking advantage of their "little red caboose" and their town mural.  Amanda and Jesse managed to make it all look even better.  Lots of laughing - and they looked stunning - although I think Jesse enjoyed our second location by the lake - with his LSU cap more. : )  

We shot the more casual shots at UTSI where Jesse is in school.  (Can you say Rocket Scientist???)  And some of his friends were using the dock to windsurf and sail.  If only I'd had my wetsuit I would have joined them - even if it's been a few years. Ha!  Jesse and Amanda were talking about friends and family who would be coming in for the wedding and I have to say I can't wait!  Meanwhile, here are just a few of my favorite shots.  Hard to choose on this one!

 

 

  
  
  

Eamon & Adie

So Eamon is ONE year old!  When we did this session it seemed like the fastest year - well 9 months ever!  It is Amazing to me how they grow this first year - He's sweet and silly and laughs with this sister.  One year ago he was beautiful - but he really didn't "do" much! :)  I love this first series - and can't wait to see what the future holds for this entire wonderful family!  

 

 

 
  
 

Kade - 6 mos

Here are a few from sweet Kade's six month session.  She is such a sweet heart and look so much like Keagan at that age.   Big Brother Keagan was NOT in the mood to settle down for any posed pics - however - I think the catch-as-catch-can method worked pretty well in this case.  : )  

I love this first one - I can think of a million things she could be thinking ...

The Worst Blogger EVER!!!

O.K.  It's official - I've become the worst blogger in the history of internet journaling!  I've been so busy with trying to get the studio open and all the other day to day photography business, mothering, teaching activity that my blog is actually developing RUST!  However...tomorrow the 2010 Wedding season continues and I'm SO, SO excited about the  wedddings, seniors, families and babies on my calendar! Trust me you will see lot and lots of wonderful pictures on here.  NOT because I'm all that - but because I have the best clients in the world and they share with me.  They share their love, their lives, the single precious moments that define NOW - so that when we all look back...we'll remember.  So Thank YOU for continuing to check back - I promise I'll be posting MORE!  : )  And since a photoblog isn't really a "photo"blog without a pic...here's one from my editing desk.  Sweet Miss Kate, with the "look".  We don't learn that girls, We are BORN with it!

 

Trapper Haskins - CD Release Party

Trapper Haskins an Extremely talented songwriter will be releasing his music to the world on Saturday.  The best part is - the release is happening right here in McMinnville at the Magness Cafe around 8:00.   The CD is titled ALLUVIUM and I had a blast shooting the cover of one of my FAVORITE old houses! If you can identify the house - I can guarantee you an autograph! 

Seriously - this is some great music and should be a fun time.  Hope to see everyone there!
